    Found out the iPod touch has an app to access my bank account. That little device is proving to be useful for something smaller than most standard calculators out there. I was playing a random game of chess with somebody in Hamburg Germany last night and almost finished the game before they called it a night.

    I'm afraid when it becomes the exception rather than the rule for one to receive good customer service it follows that companies can indeed offer shitty service and still stay in business. People seem to be able to skate by doing lots of things that 'back in the day' wouldn't fly. I suppose 'why' is for another thread but I sure do sympathize and share your frustration.

    I've been playing Mirror's Edge. It's a really cool game if your nerves can handle it. (Really, if I can do it, anyone can.)

    I like it mainly because it fulfills two of my fantasies:

    1) Fighting and outfoxing fascist police in a totalitarian dystopian city, and
    2) Being a woman with nothing to lose.
