It's almost 9am and I am typing this from bed. It's a goddamned miracle.

Go to nursing school and then experience three weeks off after a death march of a summer semester. For instance, my only plan for the next seven days is to rearrange my bedroom. That's it. Ha ha ha! It's fucking amazing.

 

My whole day cancelled. So I'm writing this from bed, too. However, my throat feels like sandpaper and my eyes feel bulgy. One client cancelled because of strep. We shall see how this day progresses, other than writing two psych reports and working on my dissertation in my pajamas.

Dead tired. Waking at 5 am CT the last three days have taken its toll. Traveling to VT for a half day meeting took 3 days out of this week. So glad to be in my office today. Wish I didn't have as much to do, though. I have to fly out on Sunday to Jacksonville FL as I have full day meeting on Mon and Tues outside of Gainesville. I really need a weekend to rest up but that won't happen for a week, as I have to go out of town tomorrow for a family gathering/mow the yard/do other crap. bah

 

Somehow it's 11am and it's already Fuck this Shit 'oclock.

 

I just made a sign. "Closed due to medical emergency. We apologize for the inconvenience."

 

It's not a bad drive to Gainesville. Just remember to set the cruise control going through Waldo, Starke, and Lawtey. It kinda lets you disconnect your mind for 90 minutes.

 

I could do with just enough to set me up in a little two bedroom in asheville with a couple of dogs, couple of cats, no worries.
Then I would nurse for play money. That sounds like a good life to me.

 

I just learned that North Bend, OR and Bend, OR are not, in fact, anywhere near close to each other. I was going to recommend a concert for Snowy!

I got sucked into YouTube while I'm supposed to be working on psych reports.
I suspect that Lana Del Ray is either on a significant amount of heroin or smashed out of her mind when she performs live.
Granted this is after watching 45 seconds of three different Live from BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge videos filmed on separate occasions.
