    It's akin to brain fag.
It happens to me all the time.
But comes back more vicious "later".

Yeah, she really loves them. She had one has a kid when she lived on a farm and thus the attachment.

Not a good dog for the 'burbs.

We're moving to a single story home with a large yard in the future. Space won't be a problem.

I'd prefer a more athletic, brainy dog.

Oh yes, and I'm still marveling that I made it through spring term in one piece and with flying colors. I had the worst case of the Fuck-Its I've had in YEARS and still got a 4.0 and the highest marks possible on all of my evaluations.

Holy productivity, Batman! According to Pomodroido, I've done 8 25-minute blocks of housework and organizing my home office. It was a serious wreck in there. Today I: cleaned the house, moved about 300 books, including approximately 100 heavy textbooks, and labeled all of the slots on my old-fashioned desk. Have I mentioned I love my labelmaker?

Me: Seriously? It's not like they're going to attack you with knives or something.
    Eden: I DON'T KNOW THAT.
Me, in a creepy little kid voice: Come plaaay with us.
    Eden: Oh, god.

My $.02 is that most dogs are greatly influenced by how much you work out their brain when their puppies, and how much you are consistent with it. Sure some dogs have a higher ceiling than others, but most people are never going to hit their dog's. Bullmastiffs are supposed to be big dummies and Stanley stomped a bunch of professional trainers, breeders, and 4H snobs at our county fair a couple years ago. It was a bigger upset than any Daniel Larusso ever pulled off, and I thought it was going to get just as violent as upset as the hardcore dog handlers were at a rookie kicking their butts.

I'm pretty much convinced that I'll always have some sort of molosser-type dog from here on out. I'm just trying to figure out if my next one will be while Stanley is still young enough to show it a thing or two.

Yeah, I'm not a breed snob at all. I really want a blue heeler (Roadwarrior thing) but I think there is definitely a breed/lifestyle match that you need to make. I work a lot, she works a lot... we might be better served with a cat.

I do look forward to whatever random evening we can sit down and talk dogs. I'm pretty sure you could sell me on one.

    That and a Seamaster.
