One of the residents keeps stealing my laptop power cord when I'm not around.
Not only was it not charging my phone for the last two hours, it keeps dropping the already tenuous connection to the Internet. Immabout to shank a bitch.

Choosing this over a blog entry for right now to announce that the link with information for the Dec 1940 Rudy Valee Show with guest stars John Barrymore & Orson Welles is on my site now. Feels nice to be more active on this kind of thing finally.
Also wanted to give Fremen another thank you for giving me the push to test the direct show filter for WMP. Found the same thing for Wavpack files which is the other codec I use on my audio website for shorter length bits.

 

I dug a bit into the Google/Blogger FAQs and help forums and they've many ideas to block spammers but as you point out, he is a stalker. You have a public blog which if you are not interested in attracting new readers to you could make 'members only.' I assume that you wish to keep your blog 'open' though as most bloggers do.
I wish I knew WTF is wrong with someone that they get their jollies in the way this guy does. I suppose in the end it doesn't matter what's wrong with him--it's what's OK with you. Sadly, everyone seems to have an 'I had a stalker' story. I do as well. And it was pre-mass use of the Internet. I was counseled to ignore him and as tough and frustrating as that felt I had to remind myself that if he got no perceptible rise out of me that his pleasure in being an assmonkey would diminish over time. He finally gave up and moved out of the state--which is my wish for your situation as well. Please keep us informed as to how you are coping. This is scary to go through alone.

Decided this fit in the 'pointless announcement' section -
Facebook confounds me. My wife setup a private event on there lately for the older kids combined birthday party and trying to invite people on there even though I am listed as admin was the latest episode of Facebook getting the better of me.
I can handle making a webpage from scratch with PHP, make a 'menu.php' that gets loaded with one line of code on every page, and do all kinds of things with audio files (my real comfort zone) but that damn social network site feels like it was constructed to frustrate me. Makes me feel like an old man yelling at the young whippersnappers to get off my lawn while wearing my pants high on my waist.
