I'm sitting here at 3 in the morning eating spaghetti and watching highlights of Week 1 at Wimbledon.
So many top seeds are out in the first week.
This Italian sausage is going to haunt me later.

OK, Monday, this week won't be so bad, will it? For once I don't have multiple deadlines to meet, and there's a holiday in the middle. I'll take more Mondays like this one.

Hopefully my 30's will mean I will be a bit less clumsy? I tripped and went sprawling yesterday, tweaking my ankle and back. Ouchie Ouch, can I feel it today.

 

I don't think Canada is ready for putting DamnitAll, Plan9, GeneticShift and myself in the same room with alcohol. I hope Martian has homeowner's insurance or whatever the the pinko-commie socialist version is in free-healthcare-land.

 

I spent most of the weekend throwing up and sleeping. Not so much with the fun. I'm not sure if it was all angry-uterus-related, or if there was mild food poisoning/stomach bug involved as well. Either way, it sucked.

Lordeden bought me ice cream and ginger ale, though, so that was nice.

it's a remarkable fucking thing, having someone edit your manuscript in a way that makes it more difficult to read and then finding oneself and a comrade spending hours removing the edits. this without any guarantee that the publisher will accept the edited edits.

Also, does anyone know what the bases are? I never knew...probably because I just went straight to home every time. Much easier.

But I remember using this analogy in Jr. High and that was during a time when I wasn't having sex and none of my friends were either. (Believe it or not, I was a sophomore in college before I was deflowered. I never really cared to have sex. Now I enjoy it.) There has to be a "nicer" set of bases....
