    I've been married 15 years and probably yelled at my wife less than 15 times.


    That makes the occasions that I really do get angry much more effective. ;)

    I totally get anger. I get angry and I raise my voice when people or ideas that I care about are hurt or treated unfairly. I think what is important is what you express when you're angry. Anger should be focused and succinct, not lobbed about like emotional medicine balls.

    I guess I confused anger and yelling in my post.


    I get angry far more often. But I rarely raise my voice, usually the look in my eye and the tone of my voice convey enough.

    When I do yell though, I mean for it to count.
