Honestly, I was never that much into Snoop Dogg. I missed alot of hip-hop in the period when he was popular. My point is that people seem to attribute rap lyrics to the person that wrote them as necessarily a personal manifesto rather than maybe a mixture of that and storytelling, commentary, fantasy. For instance, Ice T - never killed a cop, never supported the killing of cops, 'Cop Killer' was a story. People don't seem to have as much trouble separating art and the artist with most other forms. I have a good idea why that is, but I'll just leave that there.

So, I just watched the new video/song by the Pixies called Bagboy, and I wasn't too impressed.
Maybe it was the imagery. I'm not sure. I'll just listen to it later see if I change my mind.
