Another half-assed study session. Another 88%.
The next one I'm gonna study for. I swear. I was all cool about it earlier in the semester - 'hey, if I don't make an A it ain't no big thing' - now, that it's midterm...and I think of actually getting a B in this class...I feel edgy. I don't think I can do it.

Just watched Zathura and Kristen Stewart is actually good in this film. She shows real emotion and is actually a likable character, shows that much more just how poor the Twilight script and source material is.

Apparently, the trick to making lemonade is to mix in twice as much water and add a sprig of mint along with the ice.

I can handle lemonade if the lemon flavour is removed or very weak. One of the few things that tastes almost as bad is tea, any and every type I have tried. In my last job as cook we used the Sysco powder bags for lemonade which is always the same strength when mixed with the correct amount of water. I measured it exactly every time personally.
If I made an nasty involuntary grimace for the small sample I took every time I knew it was done right.

Here I thought the trick was one part vodka for each part water.

Ah I see. Getting drunk enough to not actually taste it is the key.

    new post/edit if this merges-
For the record my mom's side of the family is from Tex-Arkana and I have tried many of the Southern staples like Okra, tea, etc, enough to know that most of them can stay as far as possible from me where my taste buds are concerned.

Are you using straight lemon juice, or a mix? I've been wanting to make lemonade from scratch (the mixes are too sweet for my liking), but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Edit: Dude, fried okra is pretty awesome. I'm not so much a fan of the sweet tea, though.

Much more into the German side of the family when it comes to food. My dad's side comes from pure blooded peasant stock over in Europe. If I remember what I read correctly, the village where my great grand-parents/uncles/aunts was born was a thriving place somewhere around Austria until it ceased to exist in the 40's because of the Nazis.

1:1 lemon juice to sugar. I find adding 1 cup each to 6 or so cups of water is a bit sweet, so I double the water. Adding fresh mint with the ice makes it rather delicious.

I think most prepared beverages could use maybe half the sugar they get.

I don't know about editors in general, but I do know that you take time out of your busy schedule of reordering word soup to post memes that hurt my feelings.

    Which is kinda great.
