Pointless Announcements

Thanks to noodle I have had bourbon and feel like I accomplished at least one thing today.

Sitting at home, horny as hell, hubs is stuck on some IT site.. AGAIN. was supposed to be home a 9pm, that was 2 hours ago. He's still on site. So I am instead left to savor over previous escapades in which corsets and ice cubes were involved.

 

I only got about five hours of sleep, but it was deep, uninterrupted sleep. I feel rested.
Ready to put on my hideous uniform and dive into this day. It should be interesting.

 

i am awake at this ghastly hour because my cellphone's alarm went off despite the phone being powered off.

 

It is better to drink than eat junk food. As such, I recommend bourbon for breakfast.

 

You should reconsider. Us "Yanks" are good at making three things: booze, guns and Crossfit girls.

It would be a real waste not to experience the best of such a fine a nation. God. Bless. America.

It's why I'm headed to Canada to enjoy nerds, public transportation and heart-stopping food.

So...i'm asked to go to a patient's room to take his vital signs...i walk in rolling my little dinamap machine and the guy is scowling...he's pissed because he wants to go home. He asks me, 'do you know anything about my discharge papers?' And i say, 'no, i'm afraid not, i'm a student nurse, I'm just here to get your vital signs.' I set to work and he goes back to scowling. While i'm maneuvering around the bedside, i step on the oxygen tubing that is lying on the floor (where apparently he tossed it) and it pops off of the valve on the wall with a loud popping sound and it startles me so, naturally, i say 'what the fuck was that?' Instantly horrified at myself. I immediately launch into a cascade of apologies and he starts giggling...and he can't stop. So i accomplished that today.

 

...have you always been this dry?

It's okay, I've got a solution.

 

My mom asked me to email some pictures of Lordeden & me, and I came to the realization that most of the pics of the two of us are a couple years old. I do, however, have approximately 9000 pictures of Benjen. Hmm.

 

Send her one of you and Benjen and tell her Lordeden 's grown his hair out.
