The biggest mess one of our cats ever made was knocking over the lava lamp, he was drenched in the process from contents of said lamp.
That was fun to clean up.

 

At 5am tomorrow morning, I'll be glad that I took my shower tonight. But I didn't wanna.

One of my favorite dogs is here this morning for a dental cleaning. Cooper the 29 lb. boston terrier. He's overweight, but so sweet and happy. And he loves me.

Maybe today will be better than yesterday.

 

When your car insurance company essentially asks for "A hundred bucks or, uh, whatever you've got" for a semiannual premium, it's probably time to get a new car and drive more aggressively.

It's like they're laughing at how sensible I am.

 

Today was the official end of my 2RS (Ridiculously Short, Ridiculously Slow) training program. On my set route that I'm using as my baseline I was 1:05 faster than I've ever been just by simply trying to go faster. Build speed then distance since I'm working with a pretty strict time constraint most days.

 

not long ago, i could have been spotted on the deck in the pouring rain surveying the situation from beneath a marimekko umbrella.
after some consideration, i declared it to be moist.

 

I had a wonderful walk with my dogs last night. However.. we paid the price - nature decided to dump a bucketful of ticks on us... BLECK. Even with preventative I was still peeling them off of us before we got in the car to go home.. and more when we got home. I took the hottest shower I could stand.

 

Um, also... as ever, our timing is impeccable. Today is National Bourbon Day.
