The website has more pink than a sorority house full of valley girls. Doesn't strike me a "bucket list" item to try their food if I am ever within reasonable driving distance of one, but I am always open to sample everything at least once. I suspect I would choose a place that I had heard of at least though if I was traveling through the eastern US again.

The real question is could you use the same voice in numerous films no matter what the role may actually call for?

 

To be honest, I haven't actually eaten at a Friendly's since the late 80s. I have fond memories of getting ice cream cones from the walk-up window, and stopping for ice cream after dance recitals. They had those booths where you could lower the middle portion and make one big table, which I was fascinated with as a kid.

And yeah, the food itself isn't anything special. Except for the occasional grilled cheese & french fries, Friendly's was all about the ice cream for my family. Their Black Raspberry was awesome. And the Cookies & Cream.


Damn it, now I want ice cream.

 

I have fond memories of eating ice cream at the local Artic Circle in my hometown in my younger years. That franchise name will probably get the same blank stare from you East Coast folks that this Friendly's place got from me unless you have traveled enough.

Regarding that question about hiatus - that kind of activity lead to children, and my life is busy enough as it is already.

I would've guessed, based on the comments from some of the others, that very few people are actually getting laid. Maybe that's just me, though.
