Ugh. It is Monday. It would be delightful to ditch this lovely night shift. Not going to dream of the impossible and imagine an actual monday-friday shift.

I was supposed to see "I Love Lucy: Live on Stage" at the Warner Theater tonight, but the two-week DC run was cancelled for no apparent reason.

 

There are very few things that would please me more than to see you start posting spam videos. It would finally give me the reason to accomplish the one goal I had when I signed up at TFP - to ban you.

 

Hell yeah you do.

 

I have a mashup playing in my head now-- "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and "Trying to Reason With Hurricane Season." It's an interesting mix.



Speaking of weather: rain, rain, rain. It was nice while I was falling asleep last night, but I'd like a little sunshine this morning.

 

We had insane storms at 7am. Woke us out of a dead sleep from the noise of the rain only.
Faust was fairly convinced that the demons of he'll were on the roof and wouldn't get out from under the bed for two hours.
It was delicious.

 

Jealous! I love storms, but we never seem to get any good ones in NC.

 

That is too bad. I saw it in Chicago just as it was closing. It was a fun show.

Tried a smartass response for this and that part of my brain must be included in what is telling me "NAP!" in a not so subtle tone.
"I'm a lumberjack and that's ok..." "It's only a flesh wound." Truly a classic comic series no matter what the medium.
Off to set an alarm and be moving again in a few hours, when I should be able to fire off snappy responses like I typically can.

 

The management appreciates your patience while our understudy (Colton) gets into character. Pretty soon the guy with the shaved head and well-appreciated Photoshop skills will be played by the guy with a shaved chest, a mirror and a camera. Gentlemen, please keep your wangs to yourselves so as not to gay up Mr. Gibson.
