Supposed to spend the day golfing at one of the finest courses in Singapore. I am not a great golfer.

Just found out that the President of Singapore is supposed to attend.

WTF?

 

This killed my SO and I.

Day 1 of new job.

 

friday ended in a piano bar.
saturday began in the heat.
sunday ended in a taiwanese restaurant.
monday begins in the rain.

 

88 on my first exam of the semester. Not up to my usual standard, but I'll take it because it was fucking hard. Guess I do need to study after all. Bummer. :-p

 

The scroll area on the side of my touch pad stopped working just now. That's a mild inconvenience.

Heading out for a concert tonight. Peter Brotzmann and Joe McPhee, free jazz, like a hand grenade to the brain. It's always better live because you can actually feel the sound waves rolling out at you like tidal waves of dissonance. Especially in small spaces like this one. Stepping out a little early so I can grab a beer. I might even eat. I'll have some time to waste. Bringing my camera. Tried to put together a little sexup for afterwards, but it didn't work out. Guess I can't have everything.

In other news, I ordered my new laptop.
