First day back to school tomorrow. Spent all day printing out materials and putting together this semester's binders. My clinicals this semester will be on Saturdays, 11 hours, at a different hospital. First thing on the agenda: parenteral administration of medications!

Finally breaking out my needle kit. Who wants to be my guinea pig?

Damn, I have to go to work in about 9 hrs.

 

No meds, they're all fakes. We will use them just to practice. The needles and syringes are real. They have dummy body parts for us to practice with. No poking of dubious volunteers.

 

Ok Monday, lets get this over with as painlessly as possible. Geez, weekends are way too short.

 

Back at work after my knee surgery. Which pain is worse???

Typed up my resignation letter over the weekend. Turning it in shortly. Here goes nothing. Nervous as fuck but hey, sometimes things happen for a reason.
