    I have officially finished my first semester of nursing school. I ended up with all A's even though I didn't really try as hard as I normally do to get them. I don't care about grades anymore...I just want to be a good nurse.

    I bought myself a fine, modestly priced malbec. I shall now rest on my, uhhh, laurels.

    I forgot to set my alarm last night, Benjen's tie-out leash broke, and this coffee kinda tastes like cat piss.


    BUT...I still woke up in time to get ready, Benjen came right back after I yelled "car ride," and it's not supposed to rain tonight, so I can run after work. I'll chalk the coffee up as a loss, but everything else turned out better than expected.

    I wish.

    I've yet to see anyone but the science and math classes go outside. It's hard because middle schoolers make a lot of noise and I don't want to be inconsiderate to the other teachers in the building. Since our HVAC system sucks, on hot days everyone has their windows open. :(
