It's finally raining!

I watched the start of the pilot for this series Fringe. I might have found the first J.J. Abrams production that actually looks good to me, or at least promising.

 

I should be asleep.

 

Its a fantastic series. From start to end.

 

Is the 87 episodes on Netflix the entire run? I only see a series these days when it hits dvd or netflix. Looking forward to Boss season 2 hitting dvd, season 1 was excellent and Kelsey Grammar's best role to date.

 

87 eps sound about right. It ran 5 seasons, ended a short while ago.

 

I had to quit watching when they went to

a parallel Earth.

I could suspend my belief that far (after all, it's sci-fi), but I just didn't like what they were doing with certain characters.

I started running again a couple of months ago. I am pretty happy with the weight loss but I'm not so happy with the fact that my heart rate isn't coming down anywhere close to where I want it to be based on how fast and how long I'm going (ridiculously short, ridiculously slow).

 

I was leery as soon as I saw "J.J. Abrams" listed in the credits as so far everything I have seen of his work has been a polished turd at best and more often far worse. I strongly suspect he could have made those Star Wars prequels that I do not acknowledge even worse had he been involved in them. The first 15 minutes were good but I shall see what I think when the whole pilot is finished; had to get ready for work and wait for later via the ease of netflix.

 

I know the guy that does all of the intro/outro and fx for the show. I worked with him on a small release a couple years back. Cool guy and good at what he does. That's about the only good thing I can say about the show. :shrug: to each their own though.
