Just made an actual twitter post/feed/entry/whatever the hell those darn kids call them things. Wait, are you on my lawn again? Shakes fist angrily and mutters about how much things have gone downhill since the Truman administration......

Sounds about right for the current quarters too. They add *just enough* silver to make them the right colour.

 

I'm hearing good things about Olympus Has Fallen.
They're saying it's the Die Hard that the last two were supposed to be.

 

Going to the lawyer with my dad to draw up his will, living will, & power of attorney was not that bad until the question of DNR came up. My dad looked like a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming Mack truck. I took responsibility for all of it as per his wishes. It may have been the most 'real' day of my life.

Two more sleeps and I can go home!

When the lady said "it's a girl" on our second one, I said "Fucked. I'm straight and proper fucked." She just glared at me while my wife tried to apologize for my "potty" mouth.

So, good luck with the pregnancy and all that! Get ready to be wrapped around her finger in about, oh, 0.0000001 seconds after birth.

 

Definitely nap time, I have been wanting one for several hours now.

 

Squishy had my brother wrapped around her little finger in utero. I don't think she even had little fingers yet.

I just had a near-overpowering urge to ditch work for the rest of the day and spend the afternoon goofing off at a playground.

I'm so excited about Toronto that I just had a dream that I was talking with Martian on his couch and Baraka_Guru was auto-correcting my grammar using a dry erase board with black and red markers.

Yeah, I'm so lazy I take naps before lunch.

Ya know, I'm going to be totally unsupervised next week. House to myself 'n everything. Movie theater night is a possibility. Move the couch around, get some snacks... oh yeah.

 

Um, yes, yes and yes. I'll bring the cats.

And the dog.

Oh, and I think there may need to be a Toronto dry-erase board as well. Never know when that thing will come in handy. #grammar-off

 

Couch is made of five sections, ya know. One section for each critter!
