BTW - How thoughtfully vindictive is it to throw one shoe from every pair into the river? :p

I thought I was bad because I hid the remote a few times before leaving...

The thing plugs straight into the wall. Even multiple D-Cells wouldn't be enough for her.

Oh wait...you meant from the remote.

I nominate the term "fan" as used in this post as TFP Understatement of the Year.

Just dropped the kid off at her school for an event and I'm wracking my brain the whole way there and back. I thought of mercurial, but I'm not entirely certain that is it. I am going to use it, though, and move on. :)
    Thanks everyone.

  13. Dude, your wife is hot. I'd make it so she wouldn't NEED a battery powered friend.

I just had the strongest deja vu feeling I've had in years while gluing together this stupid collage I have to hand in tomorrow. Weird. That is such a bizarre feeling.

    Goods news everyone!

Plot details for Transformer 4 has been revealed

Taking a crazy guess here that the "plot" will involve a barely coherent storyline, way too many explosions, some actress to serve as forgettable eye candy, and more importantly plenty of quality fodder for the guys at Rifftrax to make a stellar riffing.

I read the back of the box for the new Red Dawn at Safeway after finally saying yes to the urge for a good steak and I think it just jumped on the "must watch" list for me. The cast listed on the back did nothing for me at all - the guy from that fancy looking stinker of a B film Thor, some guy from the almost as bad Hunger Games, and some actress I have never heard of from some film I have never seen.
Seeing it was set in Spokane was enough for me. This new take had better not have some kind of damn foolish hollywood happy ending; the original works much better with everyone but those last two dying. Seeing Swayze's character carrying his brother's bloody body to the park one last time caps the story properly, and something in a similar vein is what I would prefer in any new takes on this.
