It's okay to lie about believing. Most church goers do.

 

The snow that was forecast never came. I shoveled a little more than an inch of heavy wet snow last night around 8. Just a dusting after that. Yesterday after lunch the Weather Channel forecasted 8-10 inches, then last night local news predicted 5.5 inches. I'm glad they were wrong, really glad. That's twice in a week the forecast was substantially wrong. Both times within hours of the storm. Last week it was 6 inches. Less than 3 fell.

It will all even out when they forecast two inches and we get twenty.

 

We didn't get what was forecast, either. Temps hovered around freezing through the whole event and we ended up with @3 inches of hard-packed, heavy slush. Yuck!

 

Maybe it's ok for most church goers, but I'm not a church goer so I'm gonna stick with the facts and truth.

In the shop by myself today. I'm hoping it will be a quiet day, but I realize that in saying that, it probably won't be.


Interestingly, even though I haven't blocked the dogs in, they're still laying at my feet. Gotta protect Mama.

If by "play" you mean "wait 15 minutes for it to boot to the C: prompt of MS-DOS ~5.0" then yes.

The Tandy 1000 was my first computer. It had a huge 20 megabyte hard disk drive.

I used to play the original Duke Nukem on it with an awesome joystick.

 

Sitting here working on a SOAP note for class today (I forgot about it, yikes!) and I am noticing that there is a nursing diagnosis for Disturbed Energy Field described as: Disruption of the flow of energy (aura) surrounding a person's being that results in a disharmony of the body, mind, and/or spirit.

I vow to make this diagnosis at some point in my career.
