    Been raining hard for a few hours and is just now turning to sleet/snow. Supposed to be "only" 4-6 inches by morning. If all of this rain had been snow we'd be looking at 12-18+. Gonna be a fun commute.

    Ok. Time to make the first pass with the snowblower.

    Actually the first time I've gotten it out this year, none of the other snows have been deep enough or lasted long enough to warrant it.

    All done. Not too bad, the snowblower even started on the first pull, even though it hasn't run since last Feb/March!

    Here on the south side of Lake Michigan, we might get 8-12 inches depending on lake effect snow. I'm thrilled. Just fucking thrilled.

    I'm south of the lake too. I'm just WAY west of it as well.

    Last I heard it was sounding like maybe 6" here. I'd guess we have about 3" right now. It is very wet and slushy.

    My Schwartz is with you, too, Settie. I have a friend who went through it at a young age and she's 37 now. Been fighting for 6 years, had 10+ miscarriages to have her 4 girls before it hit. She's my fucking hero. And she's been clear for 2 years. But she never stops fighting. For herself and for others. Cancer fighters are fucking amazing. You are one.
