    I'm taking my 10-page research paper into class today for my students to look at. They're bitching and moaning about how hard their assignment is, so I figure they can take a look at one of mine and change their minds. ;)

    Hahaha, showed some of my students my research paper and they were all, "WHOA! You have to write research papers TOO?! How many pages is it?"

    "Ten."

    "TEN! OMG! How did you write a 10-page research paper?! How long did that take you?! It must have taken forever!"

    "Oh, you know, I did some research and then I sat down and wrote it, and it probably took me three or four hours."

    "That's like no time at all! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?"

    "Well, you know, I've written a lot of them. That certainly helps. Oh, and here's my Works Cited."

    "That's a WHOLE PAGE of citations! Holy crap, Ms. J--you're a beast!"

    "Thanks."

    Hopefully the professor likes my paper as much as my students seemed to.

    If I didn't know better I might almost think that 2-3 hours of broken sleep in a desk chair is not enough for "a good night's rest".
    Hear some rumour once how "8 hours of sleep per night" is good for you. That sleeping at night thing alone sounds crazy when you could be working.
