Today, this morning, about 5am, my grandsons mother Rachel, had her picture plastered on CBS with a big black eye.
She attempted to rob a woman of her wallet. The victom fought back and blacked her eye. Rachel got out of prison around May of this year on parole. Stupid, all her family has helped her upto this week. She probably will go back to prison. Some people just think with a criminal mind. Too bad really, so many want her to change, willing to help, now everyone has pulled back. I should probably start the adoption but I am holding back waiting on my 28 year old son to grow up.

 

Youtube really does have a horrendous closed-captioning service. Kept referring to Doug Flutie as "done booty".

 

Shouldn't "Done Booty" be little johnnie manziel? I'd love to send him a Vikings number seven jersey.

I'll be sitting in on a conference call with Trump's opioid working group later today and cant help but think it will be pointless given their program to address the opioid epidemic to-date is " Just Say No" with little federal funding to do much more. Maybe Kellyanne Conway, as the new head of the WH imitative, will surprise me!

 

G-d, I hope so.
I know there isn't much you can do but this is a travesty considering the depth of the problem.

 

My personal role on the issue is mostly on the fringe and focused on getting corporate and foundation funding to support our program but I'm proud of the work we are doing on the issue.
