Penn State Child Molestation Scandal

Discussion in 'General Discussions' started by Borla, Nov 8, 2011.

  1. Most certainly he should be allowed to see his grandchildren just like he will be able to if or when convicted - across a table with a plexiglass screen to prevent touching. His defense team, one would think, could easily visit him at home just as they would had he been denied bail if his home was the prison. Protect the innocent. I expect he spent many an hour looking out his window at the small child sluts giggling and playing - deliberately trying to entice him out with his 'punishing rod'. Flashing knicker gusset coming down the slide - the trollops.
Am I the only one to have concerns for the dog?
Would the 'old friends' he wants contact with be children over the age of 14 or something?
Borla - sadly I think the court could make the childs mother allow her children to see the sack of excrement that calls itself 'grandpa'.

Looks like the Feds are getting involved looking at whether Penn State explicitly participated in a coverup.

Sandusky federal investigation may have different focus

Can I trade "tanning mom" and Anthony Marshall for Rush Limbaugh and Sean "fuck the troops, I want paid!" Hannity?

Guilty on most counts, he'll likely be in prison for life.

But here is an interesting tidbit that is sure to bother those who were objective while still trying todefend JoePa. ESPN is reporting that basically JoePa was directly part of (maybe actually primarily responsible?) the decision to try to cover up the abuse instead of reporting it.

    Disgusting.

The school itself is not affiliated with any religion, it is a State school. Paterno and his family were/are Catholic. Not sure about anyone else involved.

It happens, no worries though I admit laughing when I read your response. Reminds me, in a way, of an incident I had at dinner party the first year I lived here. I rarely talk finances with even friends, never with people I don't know well. At this party a couple started talking to me and asked how I was able to retire so young. I can't remember my entire answer but it included a comment about Mexico being a much cheaper place to live. The man said "what do you do if the peso gains a lot against the dollar." I told him "well very soon money will not be my problem because, well, I'm not suppose to tell any one this but a very wealthy Nigerian died and left me a huge amount of money. All I need to do is pay the 20K tax and I'll have more money then I ever imagined." They nodded in agreement and smile then went to the bar to get another drink. No less then 4 times that evening that lady approached me with questions like "did you know the rich man, How did he decide to leave his money to you?, I think you should be careful, just sounds too good to be true." Only thing she never asked was why I had to paid money to get money that was being "given" to me. I finally told her it was a joke and the Nigerian e-mail scam is rather famous.

Wow, the Freeh Report just dropped.

I can't see how ANYONE can defend any of the top administration of PSU now, including/especially JoePa.

Yeah, this is going to be used by the victims' attorneys. As it should be.

Wow, now that's a damning report.

Is there anyway the school has insurance that would cover this type of thing?

Regardless of the schools situation I'd look for PaJoe's estate to become much smaller in the not too distant future.

Yes they do. The question is how much do they have and how much sovereign immunity will play into the process. From what I've read, the State of PA doesn't limit claims against the university, so the latter won't be too much of an issue. There will be exact dates of offenses (or close approximations), so there is likely hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance limits exposed here (although the likelyhood of all those limits being completely tapped is very small). Chances are that the various carriers will pay out something like $100M total, give or take.
