    As an addendum to this, just because she's underage doesn't mean that she's exempt from our rules; personal attacks are still not okay.

    This thread is being kept open on the premise that it could hypothetically turn into something worthwhile. So far it's been rather disappointing on that front.

    I think because the OP's situation is so ridiculous its hard to really get worthwhile. Long distance relationships, sure, long distance relationships with no hope of meeting? Not so much.

    It's true, but I've seen good discussion sprout from worse starts than this. I'm willing to entertain the notion; as long as it doesn't turn toxic there's no compelling reason to close it.

    Just, y'know. Try to keep it at least moderately classy.
