Well, it will be hundreds of dollars for him to come here so when he does he wants to have two weeks off of work

He is a produce manager at a grocery store. And id rather not say, I'd get looked down on.

Your profile says you're 24. You already said that there's 9 years between you. So he's 33.

That's no cause to be looked down on. When I was 20 I had a gf of 32 at one point, nobody that mattered minded, and nobody that minded mattered.

Me, too, with just slightly less divergent numbers.

Also, now that a passport is required, travel between the U.S. and Canada is not as simple as it once was. For U.S. citizens, the passport itself costs more than $100.

Well, that does add up...if you say you're 24 and he's 9 years older as you previously said, then that's 33.
Now, if you're being honest...and often people aren't. That's not bad.
My ex and I were 8 years apart...and I've seen many more that are even more spread out.
So, as long as you're legal...you shouldn't have any issue. (I cannot deny some may "object" but that's their opinion and bias, no concern of yours)

No, the real difficulty, if everything you're saying is so...is that the 2 year separation time frame is VERY unusual.
And like the cynical doctor on "House", I'm going to state, "Everyone Lies".

But then again, who am I? I'm just some schmuck that randomly answering you on a board on the web.
So, I'd say you have to figure out not only your logistics & emotions...but who you're trusting...

Simply. I'd say meet the guy in person, before you say you Love him.
    Otherwise, it's infatuation.
Nothing wrong with that...I've done that myself. It's just that they often haven't turned out well.

So he can't get time off, what about you? I've been in a similar situation with distance. If you visit while he's working you at least get to see him during the off hours. I don't want to put down the relationship you already have, it sounds like you're happy. But people are different in person. You want to see their mannerisms, their behavior when they're not on facetime. In my opinion you should find a way to spend some real life time to make sure the two year period of your life is worth it.

So, basically what you're saying is quite a bit about yourself has been false so far.
Are we to give advise...on something that isn't true??
So the point is moot...why are we having this conversation??

I'm sure many of us have got better things to occupy our time.
Such as enjoying fantasy and fiction that we already know is fantasy & fiction.

As Dr. Gregory House said, "everyone lies" (he's another fictional character, BTW)
    Enjoy your "relationship"

Are you actually underage? Is that the reason that you can't go there?

If I told everything about myself i there would be problems. My age is not of the matter here. I don't like one direction I just needed a picture and the only pictures I had to choose from were Harry styles cause my little sister previously saved a bunch of his pictures on the computer. I just went on here to have a little therapy and get out my feelings to people Nd not worry about so much discrimination but I guess I haven't found that yet so I give up but thanks anyways. And don't judge a book by the cover. If you actually want to know someone ask questions about why they say things cause maybe they have a good reason for lying.
