    Huh?
Using the written answer as the arbiter (rather than merely the oral aural sound) prevents that very thing, does it not? Accents and lisps do not show up in a written response.

Hard to see the difference here between standing up for one's self and simple whining.

    Feudalism, indeed.

If anything, it sounds more like the "little prince, Thomas Hurley the Thirrrrrrd," (son of Prince Thomas Hurley the Second, son of Prince Thomas Hurley...) whining that he didn't get what he felt was his due from that mere commoner of a judge, Alex Trebek, who enforced a rule upon His Princeness, the entitled one.

People with names like Xxxx Xxxxx III are always sure which side of the castle moat they belong on.

On the other hand, I do appreciate the brevity with which you managed to inject class struggle into the thread.:D
roachboy might have taken a whole page to do the same.;)

Fremen went from "I thought they should have given it to the kid" to "I'm glad he lost" seperated by a single sentence, with the deciding factor being that the kid agreed with fremen. But he actually says something, he dares speak up about His Elder And Better The Lord Trebek arbitrarily counting his answer wrong when as others in the thread have pointed out far worse has been allowed and suddenly he's (in your words) "His Princeness, the entitled one". So yeah that sounds like a feudalist mindset to me. Members of the inferior caste are inherently wrong and it's morally wrong for them to protest the actions of (and speak out against) the higher caste.

And making fun of the kid's name... REALLY, Lindy?
