    Ed Reed to the Texans.

Brian Urlacher out in Chicago. He claims he would've signed for $3m. The Bears wouldn't budge from $2m and he is ticked. 'Thanks for the 13yr HoF career, don't let the door hit ya on the way out'. He's lost a step, but I'd think the PR and team morale factors would've been worth what is basically a rounding error for an NFL team.

Urlacher would be a good fit in Cincinnati or Baltimore

Watch. Urlacher will end up in Minn. or it would be kinda funny if he ends up in Green Bay.

Ed Reed. I'm not sure how to feel about this one. I'm not a Ravens fan, but it woulda been nice to see him finish in Baltimore. I don't think he takes Houston any further than they got last season, but he will be a threat despite his age.

I put Urlacher in MN at about 40%. They are the favorite IMO. Probably 60% he'll stay in the NFC North. NE always seems to snatch up good vets for cheap too.

I can't see Urlacher really fitting in to CheaterChick's scheme. I guess it's possible, but if he were to come east, I could see Buffalo or the Jets picking him up before NE. Minn. seems to be the logical place for him or maybe even someplace like Kansas City but KC is trying to stay young and rebuild so that's a huge outside shot. Actually, I could totally see him in San Diego. They like over-rated players... he'd fit the bill nicely.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

The Bills are a black hole at LB, but I think it's going to be a 2-3 year process of trying to get to the playoffs, and signing an aging vet probably won't be the way to go.
If they had the other pieces in place, like QB, WR, and were trying for playoffs this year he would be ideal.

Anthony Adams of the Bears announced his retirement today.

He did it by releasing this video on YouTube. Pretty creative and funny I say. :D

Tony Romo signed to a stupidly large contract today. It is the fourth highest guaranteed money contract for a QB ever, ahead of Flacco. Only behind Manning, Brees, and Brady.

Jerry Jones seriously needs to fire his GM.

Isn't that like telling Stalin that he needed to fire Molotov after signing the treaty with the Nazi's? Everyone knows who's really pulling the strings.

It's actually far worse than that. It's more like telling Hitler in the final months of WWII that he needs to fire the guy telling his generals how to manage the war.

Jerry Jones literally IS the Cowboys General Manager, as well as the owner. He's a great owner IMO. He's a horrible GM. He needs to hire someone competent to do the job in his place.

I'm an Eagles fan, so I don't have a whole lot to look forward to in 2013. We're in "rebuilding" mode...

Carson Palmer to Phoenix for a conditional 7th round pick next year.

The Raiders gave up a 1st AND a 2nd to get him.

    *facepalm*

The name means nothing to me (and for that matter didn't even know there was a team in Phoenix) but you had better be really damn good or have some serious potential to warrant that kind of deal.

He was the Cincinnati Bengals QB. A season and a half ago the Oakland Raiders traded their 1st and 2nd round 2013 draft picks to Cincy for him. That was a huge amount to give up, they drastically overpaid IMO. He did so-so, but the team still stunk and missed the playoffs both seasons.

Now, after only one partial and one full season, Oakland dumped him for a conditional 7th round pick to the Arizona Cardinals. If he starts 13+ games (out of 16), the Raiders get that 7th round pick. If he stars 12 or less, due to poor performance or injury, the Raiders get nothing.
