It is a fun game to watch. During the first 15-20 minutes I wasn't sure either team wanted to win.

I hear you, @Borla! Looks like they're making up for it now. The Packers keep converting on 3rd (and 4th) down. A one-point game with 1:30 left.. just awesome!

Holy crap! What a pass. Rodgers avoided the blitz and threw a strike!

That was a HORRIBLE defensive play call for the Bears. There was no reason to bring a huge blitz there.

If you're gonna try to blitz someone like Rodgers, you damned well have to get to him.

The Bears should be looking for a new D Coordinator after this season.

The first time probably in my lifetime that they were top 2-3 in offense and they can't even make the playoffs because (again, for the first time in my lifetime probably) they are bottom 2-3 in defense.

I'm actually a Tampa Bay fan, but they've been horrible for so long it hasn't mattered recently.

Generally I do root for the Bears though, since so many of my friends are Bears fans.

I caught some of the Texans-Titans and Packers-Bears games.
The Texans should be ashamed of themselves. They're bad at offense, and I'm not sure they're any better at defense.

On the bright side, the Texans have gotten themselves the Number 1 pick in the next draft.

    The good news:

The Texans "earned" the number one pick.

The dallas cowgirls are out of the 2013 playoffs!!!

    The bad news:

Texans fans are anxiously waiting to see what Bob McNair is going to do about hiring a head coach, and what's going to happen with the top draft pick.

I don't see the Eagles making it very far in the playoffs. Yesterday Foles had very little protection against one of the worst defenses in the NFL (the girls went with the old rattle the 'rookie' QB trick) and didn't play well under pressure.

    Black Monday indeed.

    Lots of heads rolling today.

Bucs GM and HC are out. Browns HC is out. Entire Redskins coaching staff is out. Detroit's HC is out. I'm probably either missing some or there will be another 1-2 to come.

    Will Dan Snyder fire himself?

That's about as likely as jackass jerry hiring a new GM.

I have to agree with you about the Eagles. I don't expect them to go far at all. But it's a nice turnaround in one year: 10 wins and a playoff berth. The last couple of years under Reid felt like a death march.

Definately a great turnaround! Unlike the Texans' opposite turnaround.

I don't know what things are like between Eagles' fans and Steelers' fans, but I'm guessing that there is some "Ha, ha, ha!" towards the Steelers and their fans.

  20. The Steelers are NOT in the Playoffs!!! *Happy Dance*

The Bengals are #1 in the AFC North. They might make it through the first round since they play the Chargers and I think they can beat them again. They have already beat them once this season. I'm not toooo worried, because the game is at Paul Brown and the Bengals went undefeated at home this season. San Diego has won their last four games (one of which was against the Broncos) and could be pretty pumped up because of that. The win against KC was probably a confidence booster too.

I have faith in my boys though. I have a lot of good mojo going for them. BabySquirrel is due to be born in 2014, possibly on Super Bowl Sunday, making it the best damn year of my life. My brother's birthday is on January 5th when the Bengals play the Chargers.

DAMN IT. I just realized I have birth class on the 5th from 9am until 2pm PST and they play at 10:05am PST. DAMN IT! I will be glued to my phone while trying to learn how to breath or whatever they teach you in those classes.

I'm totally going to make DaddySquirrel take a pic of me glued to the iPhone screen while I'm everyone else is paying attention to the instructor.
