How about four Sens to start the all-star game? With that loser Phaneuf as the other D? Although Tim Thomas seems to be the only one to deserving the start.

Man, Boston is frightening this year, honestly. They're better than they were last year (and that's scary). An awesome, dominant hockey team.

That game was pure madness. The refs made some good calls (most of the game) and two really bad calls (Lucic's misconduct and the non-call on the icing that led to the -then- tying goal). If only they called the game the same in the playoffs (minus the obvious errors) then the league would have more credibility. Honestly, nobody who watches hockey can say the game is reffed the same in the regular season vs. the playoffs. And it's a disgrace.

That being said, MOTHERFUCKING YEAHHHHHH GO CANUCKS GO!

So, I mean, not that it's a big deal or anything because we have 4 games in had against the next best team... But the Canucks are 1st in the league again. Whatever...

Well you were first in the league, until the Rangers won tonight.

Yep, and they have three games in hand vs. us too. I almost hope we don't win the President's Trophy again... I mean, not that I believe in superstition, but I think it places too much pressure on you. And really, when IS the last time the President's Trophy winner won the cup? Honestly, I'm interested, and too lazy to look it up. Anyone? Bueller?

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

    Sabres fan here.
Watching our season circle the bottom of the bowl and exit down the long dark pipe.
This team has no guts, no character.

So yeah, in the entire 25 year history of the thing, the winning team has won seven cups. Just goes to show that the hockey you play in the regular season is a good indication of skill, but playoff hockey is another beast entirely.
