    Holy sheet!

    The Texlers actually won.

And of course I got to see maybe ten minutes of the game.

Case Keenum could've remained a Texan.

Point: BOB has done pretty well, overall, with the Texans given the QB shuffling.

Counterpoint: BOB is largely responsible for the QB situation
And let's also hold Rick Smith at least partially responsible.

Hopefully the Eagles will stomp cowgirls ass.

I'll reluctantly admit that I thought starting the rookie Peterman was a good idea for the Bills.

    Oops.......

I haven't looked since the half; did he start the second half?

It took them a half to get rolling, but the Eagles did stomp cowgirls ass.

The Chargers are stomping cowgirls ass....but only statistically. On paper they should be leading 35 - 0.

The Chargers did stomp cowgirls ass. And showed some class at the end of the game.

I feel bad for Detroit fans, but I have to root for Case Keenum. Did I mention that he could've remained a Texan?

  14. Considering the importance of the game, I expected a better effort from the Lions. The way they played, I'm surprised they lost by only one score.

Not the NFL, but it is football....

The UH Cougars beat Navy 28-14 (go Cougs!). If I'm reading the stats correctly, Navy threw a total of eight passes. Can anyone explain that?

I know that in college football coaches use schools in lessor conferences as stepping stones to jobs with schools in the major conferences (more money & prestige). What I don't like is how many of them depart, esp. when their current team still has games to play; of course there are situations where "Get your traitor ass out of here, now!" is best for the team.

kevin sumlin, ta&m aggies, 7-4 (should be 7-5 after the LSU game tonight, but who knows?).
He's in the hot seat, has fallen from grace hard......very hard. Boo hoo hoo.

tom herman, ut longhorns, 6-6. His first year, will have a few seasons to get thing turned around.

You know the Titans are happy.

    And kevin sumlin isn't happy.
    F*ck him.

I watched the Chiefs take apart the Patriots opening week.
Then I watched the Bills beat then yesterday.
My they have take a mighty fall.
I don't even think the Bills were that great yesterday; the Chiefs were simply awful.
    As in stink, stank, stunk.

What's the problem with the Chiefs?

I'm guessing it's the yo-yo HC, Andy Reid. Many of the announcers and analysts speak of him as a good coach who has accomplished so much. Fair enough, but that's just part of his record. Do they not see how many times he failed to accomplish more given the talent he had to work with?

    Mentioning announcers & analysts.....
It seems to me some teams are flying under the sports media radar. For (just one) example much of the focus is on the resurgence of the Saints, while the Panthers have "quietly" built a matching W-L record.

I'm facing a quandary. I'm rooting for Case Keenum, which means I'm pulling for the Vikings. But I've followed, sort of/off-and-on, the Eagles since back when Cunningham used to attempt bold (if successful) and stupid (if unsuccessful) plays. Also the Eagles have been a thorn in the side of the cowgirls.

    merge/edit.....

If Keenum stays on track and takes the Vikings deep into the POs, he should send one of his jerseys to "little" johnnie "football" manziel.

kevin sumlin probably isn't crying too much, he's due a $10M+ contract payment. It seems that tam very stupidly gave him a lucrative new guaranteed contract after his first season success. Duh!
