I was wondering when the Falcons would crash land. Hopefully they don't go on a losing streak.

The Falcons did just about everything possible to lose the game, but did the refs want the Saints to win?

While there was enough time left for the Falcons to possibly (???) make a comeback:

The forearm to Ryan's face as he slid--no call.

The horse-collar tackle--called, then deemed an "oops, no foul." It looked damned obvious to me.

Texans are 1-4. Jaguars are 1-4. They're playing in Jacksonville.

This game will say a lot about in what direction both teams are headed (I feel compelled to use my gift to point out the obvious ).

There are folks on the Texans fans site already calling for OB's head, namely sack him, intentionally tank the season (not sure that intentionally is necessary), move up in draft picks, and start 2016 fresh. I don't know about OB, but I can see an axe marked Romeo Crennel.

The Texans looked fairly solid, keeping in mind who they were playing.

That penalty on the on-sides kick was nit-picky.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

The Bills have such glaring obvious weaknesses.
But their defensive front shouldn't be one of them.
I think Rex is too clever by at least half. The scheme is way too complex. The payers don't even look like they know where to line up half the time.
Just keep it simple and let these guys make the plays.
You want to get fancy to cover up weak spots on the team? Start with QB. That would keep anybody busy.

The "next NFL dynasty" Seahawks blew yet another game. They're on track to finish 5-11.

How could Rivers not see the wide open Woodhead in the end zone?

Kudos to the Bengals. They just might be for real.

Where did the Panthers come from

I think that the Panthers have been a "developing" team for so long folks eventually dismissed them. I'm not going to dig into the stats, but from what little I've heard Newton & the offense didn't do much until the 2nd half & 4th quarter. It seems that teams are starting to figure out the Seahawks' much-hyped defense.

And I feel so sorry Richard Sherman (not!).

As I've previously posted, OB needs to choose a QB (Hoyer for now, you can never tell with OB ) and let him play even when things go wrong. I don't put a lot of stock in what the football announcers, analysts, & writers say, but more than a few have said that OB needs to stick with one QB.

I hope that by the time romo gets healthy enough to play, the Eagles & the Giants have crushed the cowgirls PO chances. Hell, the Redskins might even lend a hand .
