is it me or did the Colts and A. Luck prostitute themselves out to the Cowboys, and WTF happened to the Eagles, I lost good money on both of them, however my upset win with Oakland helped me recoup some of my losses.

Second time....caught, that is. One game suspension. Hopefully someone will show him that paybacks are a MF.

Once the Colts fell way behind, they couldn't rely on their smoke-and-mirrors. The 'girls exposed the Colts weaknesses like no other team has. The Eagles have a history of collapasing, but that was under Reid. A lot of really stupid mistakes on both sides of the ball combined with a QB whose effectiveness dropped each week.

  5. Raiola is a jerk. Detroit fans have known it for years. I hope the rookie, Swanson, plays a great game against the Packers and the Lions decide they don't need Raiola anymore.

Some players manage to stupid their way out of the NFL. They might be good players with several good years left, but teams won't take a chance on them. Anyone remember maryann barber? I'm convinced that he could've continued to be a productive RB after he wore out his welcome in Dallas then Chicago, but he stupided his way out of a job.

Peyton looked pretty human last night. I'm rooting for him to win one more SB, but I'm starting to believe it is unlikely.

Whatever happened with Ricky Williams? The last I knew he was playing for the Dolphins (??) basically because he owed them money.

Vince Young is another one. He's not that old, has no serious injuries (his mental state aside) that I know of; there are teams that would give him a backup job if it weren't for his history of being a petulent troublemaker. Fortunately for him the U of TX believes in "looking out for their own" and gave him a job.

I need to read the game report and watch the high(low)light vid. It's hard to belive that the Bengals are 10-4-1.

ricky williams palyed for quite a few seasons with the dolphins after he came back. he failed another drug test although rumor was he was india when he was scheduled to take it. i belive he played with the ravens in 11 and 12 then retired.

vince young was a weird one, had mental issues, i believe he signed with several differnt teams over the last couple of years and was cut before the season started.

i am a peyton fan, i would love to see him get another ring or two. rumor has it that cooper was a better athlete than peyton or eli.

look at ryan leaf, stupid stupid.......

Leaf might've had an addictive personality to start with, and the pain drugs he took while in the NFL got out of control. I'm certainly not defending his stupidity in how he failed to deal with his addiction. If he was hooked and couldn't handle it (yes, and yes), he needed to get some professional help. It might have taken a few tries before it took, or he might not have been able to shake it until he hit rock bottom. Maybe not even then.

I just got "hooked" by a very misleading headline that indicated that Jim Harbaugh had been fired.

This is why Manziel is one of the few people I actively root against: Attention Johnny: Browns owner won't tolerate 'irresponsible' players | Shutdown Corner - Yahoo Sports

Gives a speech at the beginning of the week telling everyone he's finally grown up, realizes he needs to mature, and is committed to taking the behind the scenes part of being QB seriously.
Throws a party at the end of the week that ends up causing him to be late to treatment to his injury, and contributes to several teammates being late to practice and/or meetings the next day.
    *facepalm*

    little johnny is a dumbass.

The Browns couldn't beat their own meat.

At least the Texans finished 9-7. Not bad with a new coach, coaching staff, and a QB shuffle that would've caused problems for just about any team.

Unfortunately the 'girls are white hot at just the right time.

I should be able to watch tonights game with few interruptions. But not for the right reasons.

I remember this Ricky Williams name now that I see it in print; I would probably guess Ryan Leaf is yet another no talent reality show "celebrity" if you asked me spontaneously without any context such as this thread.
Out of the recent names I know, most of them are ones like William Perry, Joe Montanna, That one guy who played for Green Bay in the only super bowl I have ever seen that died recently I believe, which reminds me of Brett Favre, and Joey Harrington just because he went to a local school. I saw he played for the Detroit team that was NBA 2014-15 Philadelphia 76ers level quality from the little I followed such things.
And yes that sentence is a horror in the grammar department, but I ain't gonna fix it irregardless of the bottom line. ;)

That had to be the most poorly "disguised" fake punt that I have ever seen.

Harbaugh is already out. So is Rex Ryan.

    Trestman can't be far behind.

Rex is entertaining, but I think he did have to go. And since it wasn't really his fault that the roster has been horrible the last several years, I can see the GM getting the boot too.

I don't really have an issue with Smith getting canned either.

Like I said, I expect Trestman to be out in Chicago. But so far they've only announced the GM getting fired. So maybe they are giving Trestman one more year, which I don't think will help.
EDIT - Trestman just got fired too.

I also wonder what Oakland will do about Sparano. I could see that one going either way.

There has been some talk about Tom Coughlin being out for the Giants, but I'm guessing he gets one more year. Not sure, just a guess. We'll see.
