Wow, I hope RG3's knee wasn't as bad as it looked. He seems like a good guy. I just don't know how viable his style is long term.

He is a pretty smart guy...graduated in 3-1/2 yr with a political science degree.

He can always run for Congress like former Redskin first round flop, Heath Shuler, a Democrat who represented a Republican district in NC for three terms.

But watching him all year, he learned how to become less reckless pretty quickly after the first big hit after a run. I think the perceptions (outside of DC) of him as a runner first doesnt really represent his thought process as a QB.

I don't think of him as a runner first, just that he runs too often. He kind of reminds me of Steve Young with a bit more speed and not as refined yet.

I thought it was interesting to hear that earlier this year the Seattle coaches watched and installed parts of the Redskins "pistol" offense for Wilson during their current streak.

The "pistol" offense might be a new prototype with the right QB...guys with quality arms, athleticism, and ability to read defenses and adapt on the spot, ie not Tebow or Vick types.

Wilson had some good runs yesterday, too. Loved his block for Marshawn Lynch. While that game didn't start out well, we got with it eventually. The turf at FedEx looked terrible by the end of the game. I wouldn't want to play on that field.

I heard a bit ago that the initial testing shows that RG3 tore his ACL and his PCL and will be out for all of next season at the minimum.

However, he is seeking a second opinion because there is some thought that scar tissue from his ACL tear in college may make appear worse than it is. I'm not a doctor and can't explain how scar tissue would make it look like a tear, but that is awful if it's really an ACL/PCL tear.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

New head coach for us in Buffalo. He was coaching Syracuse and did a good job turning their program around.
Next for the Bills should be a new QB.
Then we'll see if we make any progress.

That's awful news. He's such a dynamic player, a great addition to the league.
But the way his knee flexed on that fumbled snap looked pretty ugly.

Hey, it started out great (14-0), but ended with a thud.

FedEx Field is a converted cow pasture in P.G. County....I hate it when compared to the old RFK Stadium. Natural grass has its downside after a long season, but still better than artificial turf, IMO.

Why hasn't Snyder fired Shanahan yet?
