I feel like someone turned back the clock and we're in the '07 season again. You know it's bad when Parcells couldn't do anything. Sparano couldn't do anything. Wanstedt..puhlease. We need a coach who is going to march in there and make the players realize that on Sundays it's not about South Beach and the asses they'll have in the bed later.

I can't put a whole lot of blame on Marshall.. when a receiver doesn't have a quarterback who is dependable, it's hard for him to commit to a route or take chances.....or, most importantly, have enough opportunity for the ball. Brandon ended up with only 120 yards last night I think, I'm surprised he even got that.

Now I have to listen to Fat Boy Ryan proclaim that the Jets are still the greatest team ever. Thanks Miami. Thanks a TON.

 

Things looked so good for Miami for the first quarter-and-a-half... I went to bed at the half, though.

 

Well at least I can respect a fan who accepts the reality of his team. Though to be honest I put more blame on Moore then Marshall and the Fins WR's. How many balls have to hit your hands before you catch one and hold on to it?

The Jets blow, seriously blow. Buress is a shell of what he once was and Sanchez is, well Sanchez is what he is and he's not getting any better at it. And their running back, Greene?, has yet to prove he's a real RB. I think he has numbers but they all seem to come when it doesn't usually matter. Sure as heck doesn't make big plays when the chips are, least not that I've seen. But you're right, sucking will not keep Ryan from screaming about how many super bowls the Jets are going to win.

You know my dad and uncle were 49'er fans and I grew up in a 49'er house. When I was young they pretty much sucked. We were fans regardless. But we were also realistic on the reality of our team. Cheer up, the Fins were a great team once and might be again sooner then you think.

 

Oh I'll always be a fan. Consider my team in baseball..the Red Sox. If you're a Boston fan, you know the highs and the dark lows. I'll always be a 'phins fan, but it just seems like the front office is more concerned with promoting an atmosphere catering to celebrities instead of building a winning team. I shudder to think what Don Shula sees in this current team and front office.

There was a sense of excitement surrounding miami fans before the start of the season because while we knew the offense still needed a ton of help, we assumed we would go from 5th in total defense to top 3 easily. Now we're scraping the bottom of the barrel with teams like Atlanta.

As long as the Jets don't win a super bowl with their over-rated QB and that mouthy delusional coach of theirs, I'll be ok.

Is anyone else consistently underwhelmed by the quality of NFL announcers? I often find myself away from the TV and I can't tell what the fuck is going on, so much inane banter. Tell me what's happening during the play, give me analysis of the play between plays.

 

That had less to do with Teebow and more to do with the fact MIA just collapsed.

I hate neither team, just stating my opinion. I didn't think the Jets won last week as much as the Fins just tossed it away. Now if the Cowboy's come up you can call me a hater.

 

Yeah, the Broncos win had nothing to do with the amazing catches by Fells and Thomas and the gutsy play by Tebow. Like I said...haters gonna hate.

 

Ok you win... I'm just a hater. Everyone should just forget about the way the played for the first 3 & 3/4 and their play was just awesome, had nothing to do with the coverages or defense.

My only real problem with Tebow (and players like him) is that they credit God for their wins/ability. Nope, not the thousands of hours you've put in studying and working out. Take some credit, for the love of math.
