The downfall of the Colts is sad to see, Manning was the entire team it seems.

 

Manning wasn't the entire team. He was just able to overcome some of the weaknesses that the team has. He was also able to take the spotlight away from those glaring weaknesses.

I'm bummed about the whole Monday Night Football Theme song thing (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/colu...iams-jr-espn-monday-night-football/50681912/1). Not because I care about Hank Williams Jr., but because The House Jacks got to sing along on this year's version. It was yet another good outlet for a cappella, and it only lasted three weeks.

 

Hank should have kept to salivating at the thought a sloppy BJ from the bubble headed Fox beach blonde... you know Steve Doocy. Besides I bet Grumpy and Fly could throw something together in about 20mins that would rock the start of each game.

 

I took the money line today on the Bills and Seattle but lost on the Texans and and Saints (took the points on NO.) But Buf and Sea were grand slams, everything from here on out is gravy though I think the Chargers are going to pay out too.

really did not enjoy most of the 4th quarter of that game.
The Bills seemed determined to throw away the game.
Luckily they were playing a team even more self-destructive.

 

I'm starting to not like the end of the NE game. Not a fan of Bill'O Cheat or his team but business is business. Need them up by more then 7.

 

ive had a bad taste in my mouth for bill belicheck after he got caught cheating. im sure others do it as well, but none of them have gotten caught

 

In the end they covered and I had a GREAT Sunday, easily paid for my trip north to see my daughter next month.

I thought about laying a couple dimes on the Lions ML tonight but why risk what has just been a fantastic week?

 

About all I have to contribute here beside inane questions are these thoughts:
I have not watched much American Football in my life and have done a damn fine job avoiding it, but the touchdown dances, spiking the helmets in the endone, etc. were some of the things that were actually interesting to watch. The highlight from the one Superbowl I was forced to watch in my life was seeing the last performance of the original Beach Boys led by Carl Wilson. It was the one where the Green Bay Packers beat somebody ?-? for the title.

 

I wanted OchoCinco to play for another team so he could expand and grow as a player. I just didn't want him to go to NE. I hate Belicheat too much. I doubt Ocho will be there after this season.

 

Fuck Bilicheat... should have been banned.

 

Arrrgh, a must win game for the Bears and they can't run any sort of offense.

 

The way he's been playing, he's lucky to still be there. I'll be surprised if he makes it to the end of the season.

Ugly game so far... Lions have been a 2nd half team all year.

 

Not down by 20+.... hope they can deal with that!

 

Damn, the Bears were awful. Cutler looked great but that was pretty much it. The years have caught up with the defense. Lots of holes to fill.

 

Cutler showed guts and poise... much more than I suspected he had. Mike Martz's blocking schemes just may get him killed.

The Lions offense didn't play as well as they could have. Luckily, they didn't have to.
