    That is amazing.

All year, Packers fans said, "You know, our defence isn't very good, and boy our receivers sure drop a lot of balls" and the rest of the league said, "SHUT UP YOU HAVE NO REASON TO COMPLAIN!"

Well then Sunday happened, and I feel like a big "I told you so" is in order for everyone who disregarded the self-doubt most football-savvy Packers fans had about this team.

Also, did nobody learn from when the Colts rested their entire team before the post-season? Bad move.

anyway, I'll take the 9'ers and ravens in the SB. That is, if Flacco can lead his team instead of just going along for a ride.

Well, the 9ers seem to be doing well, but the Ravens have flown the coop. ;)

Anybody else mad that the fans kept cheering loudly for the players while Kristen Chenoweth was singing the National Anthem?
I know they're there to support their team and have a good time, but shit, have some respect for a great artist singing a moving song.

Fuck the Patriots. Fuck that kicker. Fuck this shit. FUCK. I wanted Ricky Williams in the show. Patriots didn't deserve to win that game. I hope they get ass fucked without lube in the Superbowl. So badly that they permanently lose function in their sphincter muscles. A man can dream, right?

Now lemme guess, the Giants are going to beat the 49ers thus ensuring I hope for some tragic accident that makes it so the Superbowl is cancelled.

  11. Time was there was respect for the flag and the anthem, regardless who performed. Lack of class?

As for "great artist singing a moving song" goes: I'd rather an above average vocalist sing the anthem straight than an "artist" get artful with it.

I'm a bad guy to ask about these things, because quite frankly I fail to see the reason the anthem even needs to be played in front of sports fans, especially in sports like soccer or hockey, when many of the players actually playing in the games don't even belong to the country whose anthem is being sung. During international play? Maybe, sure. I just don't see the point. Seems like hollow nationalism.

GO PATS!!! and Ace, the Pats totally deserved that win.

  14. Steven Tyler was a little bit better than the last time he sang the national anthem at a big event, but not much.

At least we are getting two match-ups that are actually competitive this week.

...But they won...all that matters...Plus Brady gets points for admitting he sucked and the D won the game for them.
