I wonder how late into that play he decided he was going to pull that off. When he jumps off the ground he certainly doesn't look like he's about to do a front flip, but you don't have a lot of time to decide to whip your legs over your head like that. Pretty sweet play!

I guess this week we get to see how much Flynn can raise his stock before he gets traded.

  5. So far, the Lions D is making him look pretty good.

Well then! I guess setting a team record on your first start is a pretty good way to raise your stock... 480 yards... 6 TDs... Beast Mode Engaged. Wild game, holy smokes.

Yeah that was a blown call. I didn't get to watch most of the game, did he waste his challenges and thus didn't have any left, or did they just run out? If the former, Schwartz has only himself to blame.

Oh, Flynn set the yardage record AND the TD record. Insane. Playin' for that paycheque.

  10. Schwartz won a challenge, then lost one (which the announcers claim he should have won). At any rate, he only gets two, and there were many more calls that could/should have been challenged.

The calls, bad as they were, wouldn't have mattered if the Lions had played a little defense. Atrocious! Props to Flynn. He made the most of the opportunity.

Jets loss and Denver loss... I believe that puts the Bengals in the post season.... right? I know if Oak also loses then they're in. Would have been nicer had they got in my beating the Ravens but in is in.

I didn't get to see so don't know. I know every game I've seen today at some point the announcers have pointed out "of course this game has no post season implications..." Which leads me to ponder then "WHY THE FUCK ARE WE WATCHING IT!?!

You know I forgot all about that, naturally of course ZS is free to do as she wishes. But certainly one more reason to root for the Bengals. I always like underdog teams with faithful fan bases. Now that the Red Sox have broken the "curse" I'll be quietly rooting for the Cubs come MLB season... or any team playing the Yankees.

Speaking of any team... Let's go NYG!

Hey cowboys... see ya next year ladies.

Romo's never going to the "the guy." I hope Dallas keeps him for a long, long time.

    pan6467 a triangle in a circular world.

The Bengals are in and played Baltimore well, they should have won. The Browns played Pittsburgh better than I thought they would. Both teams had the chance at the end but just lacked the time.

So the Browns get the #6 pick, hopefully they are smart and don't take a QB, they have to give McCoy a chance at least. They need an offensive/defensive lineman, if Hillis goes they'll need a strong running back and a strong #1 WR. IF they feel they truly NEED a QB to help teach Colt, see what happens with Manning. What has been keeping Cleveland down is the fact they keep drafting QB's and trying to change their style instead of using the QB's strength and building around him. Don't know what it is but we seem to psychologically destroy QB's in Cleveland. Colt McCoy could be a truly good QB if given the receivers and team confidence. Cleveland has a losing city mentality and the fans want a winner NOW, they don't want to wait. Unfortunately, Lerner seems to listen to that BS and plays front office games too much. Maybe Holmgren can truly build us a winner and he's not past his prime. Cleveland fans need to realize that a great QB is going to take a few years to truly develop especially when you have no strong receivers to catch him. The fans just don't seem to understand that.

Cincy defied all odds this season. Yeah they lost to Baltimore and Pitt but they proved they were far more talented than people gave them credit for. Dalton as QB was a huge surprise, esp. when in training camp the word was they didn't know who to start in the position. They had a great corps of receivers and a nice mix of running/passing. The D was solid. IF this team is kept together and the players are given the chance to grow together as the team is relatively young and Mike Brown doesn't stay cheap actually paying players to stay and not ship them off when they prove to be valuable assets, Cincy just may be a force to be reckoned with for years to come. Funny, how with a younger, less experienced team and fewer expectations they did what Palmer and Ocho had a hard time doing, it's called winning.

I'm really happy to see Cincy in the playoffs. Saw it elsewhere, but I can't help but repeat it here:

    AFC MEH

Don't think any AFC team can beat the best the NFC has to offer this year. Any Given Sunday, yadda yadda, I may come to eat these words, but the NFC has some power.

That Dallas/Giants game was difficult to watch.

I keep getting pissed off whenever some dumbass Cowboy celebrates after a successful play on the field.

"Hey, dumbass!" "Save the grandstanding for when you actually win a football game, not for when you retrieve a ball that your team-mate fumbled in the first place!"

Stevie Johnson is too hopelessly stupid to keep on the Bills.
Number 10 pick in the draft next year. The Bills have a history of picking real winners.
