Came across a site the other day that has opened up some real gems for me on Netflix Instant Viewing. It shows the new movies added, movies about to expire, and whats been the most popular.

Here are a few that I have enjoyed:

Steamboat Bill, Jr. A hilarious silent film starring Buster Keaton. I think that it is his most “approachable” film.
The 39 Steps. A great Hitchcock thriller.
The Lady Vanishes. A great Hitchcock mystery.
The Conversation. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, starring Gene Hackman. An interesting, slow spy thriller.
    Doctor Who
    Firefly
The newer Masterpiece Mystery: Sherlock series

A must add I've just found. Day Break. I'm six episodes in and can't stop watching it.

I'm a huge tv fan, and Netflix gives me an opportunity to catch up on things I've missed, or the chance to watch old favorites. I'd recommend the following:

    Coupling (Brit version, of course)
    Dr. Who
    Sports Night
    Friday Night Lights
Also, old episodes of Highlander are still ridiculous and enjoyable every once in awhile.

    Trollhunter is pretty good.
Even though it's one of those "found footage" movies, it makes good use of the concept and isn't as annoying as other shaky-cam "found footage" movies.
It's also shot in Norway and has some very beautiful shots of the countryside.

  9. Mystery Science Theater 3000.

    You're welcome.

I just saw tonight that they have The Animated Star Trek Series from 1973. :) That was the only Trek show I never had seen before; watched episode 1 and it was pleasant to hear the original crew again.

Just watched "World's Greatest Dad". Hell of a movie, but "Robin Williams Comedy" is not the way they should have marketed it. "Film that finds humor and humanity in the worst possible situations in life" is a harder sell.

I watched Episode one of Being Human a week or two ago and loved it. It was a refreshing take on things, especially with the ghost as a main character.

One of the best one season shows of all time, pretty well contained within that one season.
