Now Wisconsin is going to be competing with them for some of the same talent.

And Marcus Mariota picks up the Heisman.

I can't believe I watched it and clapped for a Duck, but he seems like a good kid, and he deserves it.

Helfrich: Ekpre-Olomu won't play against FSU - Yahoo News

Not cool. Heard it a few days ago but forgot to post about it. At least Seisay has gotten some playing time, and done okay. But losing an All-American CB isn't a good thing, especially this time of year. Here's hoping the offense rolls along so smoothly that the defense can hold it together.

Honestly, if I was guaranteed an Oregon win next week, I'd probably buy tickets to go to Dallas...

I'm glad they added a playoff to Division 1A (FBS), Division 1-AA (FCS) has been using a playoff since the 1970s. Divisions 2 & 3 also have playoffs. I do think they need to expand the playoffs from 4 teams. There would have to be a couple of wild card teams to make the brackets work, but otherwise I'd say "win your conference & you're in". Each conference champion has a chance to prove, on the field, whether or not they're worthy of the national championship. IMO the only reasonable controversies are determining who the wild card teams should be, and how to seed the conference champions. The wild-card teams being the bigger controversy, but to those teams angry that they didn't get a wild card slot, win your conference next year and you don't have to worry.

For deciding conference champions that's pretty easy. Make each conference have 2 divisions, and each team will play every team in it's division as part of it's regular season schedule. Division champions are determined by conference record. If 2 teams in the same division have tied conference records, then use the NFL's Divisional tiebreaker to determine the Division champion. (I can't post links, post count too low, but the NFL has said procedures at it's website) Division champions play each other for the conference title & automatic bid to the playoffs. IMO that's the fairest way possible to determine who gets in.

I don't know who will win it all but I'm happy to see the BCS go away.

    Harbaugh is out of SF.

He's expected to be announced as Michigan's new coach by Tuesday.

Sadly that effort ends in defeat all too often.

But they are a classy school.

Went to Costco. Ducks, Ducks everywhere.

I'll be glad when this is over.

Guess who is not sad to see LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi State, and Auburn all go down? :p

Once they reviewed that TD call they overturned it. Seems that Jameis was about a crab leg short of the goal line. ;)

Well I'm a Western Oregon State Alum and I can assure you the Wolfs will never do anything. Well anything well. I align myself with the Beavers, due to course availability I actually ended up taking many on the OSU campus. But as an Oregonian I'm happy to see the Ducks do well. In fact my OSU loyalty goes back long before I attended any course. Flipping burgers at Wendy's on 9th St. in Corvallis convinced me to take up a four year career of cleaning toilets for the US Navy. The pay was about the same but the smell was better and I got to see the world (17 countries in 6 months.)

So for me Bev's over Ducks. Any Oregon team over any out of state team.

So what the end of this game going to look like?
