The Rockets have good record despite Howard mssing several games. With his return to the linup, I'm thinking the Rockets should have a very good season and do well in the playoffs. But it's long season, and fortunes can change.

Well, despite Robin Lopez's hand injury, we pulled it out against the Bucks last night. I really can't overstate RoLo's position as a kind of team glue. I was happy to see a fan favorite, Thomas Robinson, step up and get it done. What struck me is that in the after game interview, TRob said pretty much the same thing Meyers Leonard said several weeks ago when he had to come off the bench to fill in when Nicolas Batum was injured; it's all about being ready to go. I love that team oriented attitude.

Watching the battle between OKC and Golden State tonight. Good stuff.

Everything he did AFTER "The Decision" was set up to grease the skids for a return. As horrible as Cleveland sports has been for the last 50-60 years, the people just wanted something to hope in. Being an almost home town boy, and the greatest active player, didn't hurt. ;)

Also, no buzz on the Rondo trade?

I thought it was a pretty decent move for both parties. Rondo isn't what he once was, IMO. And the PG pool in the league has gotten WAY deep in the last 2-4 years. But I think it is a good upgrade for the Mavs, especially since Rondo couldn't care less about getting shots. And Boston gets a few bit pieces and some picks for a guy who wanted out, and wasn't going to get them in the playoffs anyway.

  8. spurs lose 2nd straight triple overtime in 2 games. first back to back triple OT since 1951

damn those blazers..and Lillard went on fire in 3rd OT. Spurs did enough to be able to put both those games away. But with irregular injuries and different teams day in and day out they're finding it hard to find some consistency around the lower ranked teams surprisingly

That was an incredible finish. The downside is our performance on road trips and when we come back from road trips. We're going to struggle against the Pelicans tonight. I can already feel it.

We're learning to rely on the depth of our bench more, and that's a good thing. We have a tight team. We need to use it to our advantage.

I watched much of this game and enjoyed it very much but made the mistake of not sticking around to see how the first OT ended. *shakes head* I know better after watching these games for over 25 years and seeing some thrilling finishes.

No sympathy for the Spurs here.

    The Pelicans? Seriously, NOLA?

Anthony Davis of the Pelicans, and his eyebrows are the only thing I think of when I think of that team.

The Rockets keep winning (mostly), even shorthanded, against good teams.

We had LA and RoLo out, and we were on the third game of a road trip, so I don't know that you could call the Blazers a strong team last night. And James Harden needs to learn to dribble the ball. Wonder how many times he got his passport stamped with how much he travels.

Have you seen the East? I'd say their chances are pretty good regardless.

It's the beard. It is so mesmerizing that the refs forget to count steps. :p
