Very impressive numbers on that MLM list. But I wonder how much of those profits the newest recruits actually see?

MLM is not for everyone. Sales in general is not for everyone. Recruiting new sales reps isn't for everyone.

Starting your own business is not for everyone. Most people romanticize the idea but don't realize the hard work that is involved. Many think they just set out the shingle and people walk up with bags of money and hand it over.

MLM isn't much different than franchising, both are very lucrative business models that have proven track records of success. Many if not most businesses fail.

I don't have to wonder how much of those profits are seen by new recruits. Why would the newest recruits see a lot of those profits? They have put in the least amount of work.

I see a big difference between busting your ass to build a business where you sell a product or service to customers, and busting your ass to recruit people to work under you to recruit people to work under them to recruit people to work under them.

and that's where you are missing the idea. Not everyone cares about that recruiting people. Did you read the Forbes article? Many are satisfied with just a simple business that gets them out and networking with other people.

here's the best part about this, it's just another avenue. It's not right for everyone, just like doing the corporate rat race work, stock market investor, real estate investor, etc. etc. etc. It is just another way that a few people have found success in whatever their definition is of that.

Amyway's basically a pyramid scheme that managed to successfully copy recruiting and retention techniques from cults, as well demonstrated whenever someone's programming takes over and they start quoting dogma... or when they go into full "burn the heretic" mode when the cult is challenged.

"It's not right for everyone...." That sounds very familiar.
