Later in life your joints will thank you. I have fond memories of running 5Ks & 10Ks (usually to support a good cause), never did work my way up to half or full marathons.

I remember in the early '80s when I felt "heavy" at 170 pounds  . I remember in the mid '90s when I felt (and looked) good at 195 pounds.

I splurged a little today on a pair of jeans and a pair of shorts. The shorts weren't too bad... $8. But Old Navy sizing made them a 4. The jeans were $30, which I'd normally never spend unless I had to... But they were Calvins and make my ass look awesome. They're size 6. I had to get them.

I realized that all of my pre-internship clothes are officially TWO sizes too big, which totally floored me. I had no idea. That shows how often I shop for clothing. I waited until it was embarrassing to keep wearing them. Yay, me.

The 37 was right there when the 65 pulled into the transit center, which meant that I only had to walk a block instead of nearly a mile.

A woman in my bootcamp class told me this evening that I looked like I've lost weight. This is the first time she's ever spoken to me—not bad for a first impression. Thanks, lady!

When my parents moved to Delaware and earned the privilege of not needing a front license plate, my dad got a custom made plate with "Hojotoho!" on it.

    Ride, Valkyries, ride!

Worked a dui checkpoint, got a warrant out of it. It wasn't a big deal, simply "why don't you have a license?" "Because I'm suspended". He was, plus the warrant. Turns out he's my neighbor, lives a couple hundred yards from me. Goes to the same gym, too. Oh well.

I love it. We have a refridgerator door repaired with Gorilla balck duct tape. The molded plastic piece on one of the inside doors cracked near the bottom, and the shelf holding soda bottles kept popping out. My wife asked "How much will a new piece cost?" I replied, "I have no idea, but a few strips of Gorilla tape will cost less than firty cents."
