I did a five-minute abs workout this morning. I think it's something I can stick with, and based on what is feeling it afterward, it works what I need to work to fix my spinal lordosis.

At work, I mastered the prep work needed to prep the ceiling surface in such a way that I can shoot anchors in with the nailgun and still meet fire code without having to apply fireproofing material afterward. Saves me time, my department money, and the fire marshal stress. Everybody wins!

I procrastinated for too long, but LastPass has finally given me a pass on its security check.

Hey now, I always shower. I try to get to it before 9, but sometimes I'm content to write in my pajamas for a little while longer. I'm sure you wouldn't begrudge me my writing time, now would you, @hamsterball? ;)

Not at all, dear @snowy. There needs to be time every day to enrich the soul. ;)

Indeed, my dear. My heart explodes with joy every time I contemplate the size of your....soul..

Sorry, that was tacky, even for me

    It could happen.........

However your soul is quite impressive as you've amply demonstrated in the past. There are few who can compare. ;)

I managed to clean and vacuum my entire apartment in 25 minutes, which includes: cleaning the shower, toilet, sink, counter, and mirror in one bathroom; cleaning the toilet, bathtub, sink, counter, and mirror in another; picking up the floor in the bedroom and tidying; unloading the dishwasher, loading the dishwasher, wiping down the counters, and cleaning the sink in the kitchen; then vacuuming the whole place after tidying the living room.

Now, if I could just get my husband to stop poking my pet peeves (dirty socks on the floor in the living room), that would be a MAJOR victory!

I tried something new, in hopes of getting a different result. I took the Advocare 24 day challenge.

It's wiring and I couldn't be more thrilled. The extra weight is coming off and I feel better than I have in a long time!

I took a week off of running due to knee and ankle pain, and I jumped right back in last night with no major distance setbacks

Worthless post alert! I was discussing a fitness routine with a physical therapist fairly close to my age. I told her that when I was younger I used to run about 30 miles a week (6 miles, 5 times a week). She was formerly a dedicated runner who switched to bicycling after noticing that she was getting shorter as she got older. For older folks, she is a big fan of intense workouts (some muscle toning, but with plenty of cardio) that don't stress the joints.

I prefer workouts that are lower impact, but I'm training for my 5Ks. After that, it's just running once a week for maintenance. :)
