This is me, as well. And I really, really have trouble keeping my mouth shut.

I've ran out of duct tape...:D

There's not any subject, I would know very well, but it doesn't stop me from inserting my little nuggets of belief into conversations. In the past I used to have lots of general knowledge about famous people (names and stuff, mostly gossip) and matters regarding foreign languages, because I was interested in reading about these. It was sometimes handy in general conversations, but I notice I'm not up to date anymore.

What I find really hot in men, is someone knowing (or seemingly knowing, I'm easy to fool :p) lot about a specific topic. Techy talk about computers is one thing, at work I enjoy listening to the tech support guy explaining me in details something he's done to make things work better, even though I really don't know that stuff.

I like watching political debates during elections, because those who speak have so much passion for what they stand for. It's not about agreeing with any of the parties, I just enjoy them making good points and good arguments.

My husband knows a lot about fixing cars, since he works with them, but I'm a bit skeptical with any other stuff, because I know, he's not very openminded nor has studied things to know what he's talking about. Yet he can be quite adamant in his opinions of knowing something.

You can impress me with anything, as long as you prove to be passionate and knowledgeable about your agenda.

    I know enough.
I like finding out what other people know so long as it's a give and take convo. I avoid people who think they 'know it all'. I love google!

Now, people I run into? I helped an older gentleman just the other day overcome a little bit of an anxiety attack that he had at the grocery store because some stupid blond bimbo in a huge black suv got her panties in a twad b/c he didn't see her and cut her off in the parking lot. She tailgated him, and held down her horn for several minutes just to show her annoyance. I can't stand people who think they are so much better than others.
We all make honest mistakes. Ones that inadvertantly cause others inconvenience. Can't we all just give everyone the benefit of the doubt, and be kind to one another?

I encounter a lot of women know-it-alls. They know EVERYTHING about spirituality, religion, philosophy, psychology, politics and the economy. I attribute this to Dr. Phil, Oprah, Anderson Cooper and yoga class.

Like @Jove, I also work in the healthcare industry, surrounded by very capable colleagues in whose hands I would gladly entrust my health and, in some cases, my life.

For some reason, they strongly believe they are equally adept at designing print materials. Stick with your patients, people. Leave the other shit to me. Please.

There's a woman, a colleague of my ex's, that attends my bootcamp class. She's not a know-it-all per se, but I think she may well be reality's embodiment of Penelope...

...only much more obnoxious, especially when it comes to anything having to do with our class. She's a sweet woman, but she's pretty much one of the least favorite people in my life.

I don't do well with know-it-alls, the fact of the matter is that none of us know everything about anything. We might be well versed here and there on specific sets of subjects but that doesn't entitle anyone to think they know everything about anything. As people we are constantly learning and growing and therefore, our knowledge expands as we grow. We never stop growing, we never stop learning and so we can never know everything there is to know. That's my two cents!

    And that note...

A wife walks in on her husband, a string theorist, who's in bed with another woman.
He shouts, "I can explain everything!"

    know it all... :p
