Ok I have a few favorites The Muppet Show clips that come to mind.

I remember when Jim Hensen died, Life Magazine ran this cover, seems to say much of what the above picture does:

 

I love the Sandra Bullock phenomena skit. She's Kermit's shrink and well.... watch it and see.



For some reason I find her hotter than ever in this.

 

I saw the movie yesterday.. it was great, as usual for the Muppets. I still have a couple of the songs stuck in my head..

 

My wife checked it out from the library and I listened to some of it after the digital transfer. My nice reaction is "hell no" / would never buy it.
This poster was included in a muppets LP I found somewhere - guessing late 70's here

It does. However it does lack in appearances from Pepe The King Prawn.

 

BTW as far as The Muppets goes, it was everything I was expecting in a Muppets movie.
Oh and... Maniacal laugh, maniacal laugh, maniacal laugh.

So my interest in watching the Oscars this year just increased by about 100% with the announcement of Man or Muppet being nominated for best song

Pretty much ensuring the presense of Muppets on stage at the Oscars.

 

That ^ was pretty good.
Don't know if it's Oscar worthy, but I've seen worse win.

 

So while they wont be performing (because that might be fun and Oscars are serious business ) it looks like there will be Muppets presenting at the Oscars after all.
