You should hear the stories I suffered when we used to carpool over at T.I. Those were the days Leroy!

You are wrong about that. I just have a problem with somebody claiming military service that never served.

My stories are based on real life events.

I'm sure they are. Just not your life.

It's OK to write fiction, just don't present it as fact.

By way of example, Tom Clancy was an insurance broker when he wrote the Hunt for red October. He was passionate about naval warfare, and wrote some of the most accurate stuff I've seen. He didn't serve, and didn't claim to. He was just passionate.

You don't know me or what Earl did to me. War is a hell of a thing.

You are correct, I do not know you, and I do not know what your father did to you, or what you think he did to you.

But if there is one thing I do know, it is war. And I am here to tell you, sir, you have never been in one.

All of my children crapped their pants until they were like two or three. I'm pretty sure they were all noncombatants.

If you and Taneytown are really friends, you probably don't want to do that. Shipley will rip him apart.

I have to say, LeRoy, the sweater obsession is really cracking me up.
