The open-minded me says:
If you and your BF are OK with you dressing sexy, that's fine.

The let's-be-honest side of me says:
Make certain that your BF is OK with it. What he says and what he actually thinks might be different.

As several others have said, just be aware that you could attract unwanted attention from guys who don't know when to back off. And don't forget about jealous females, there could be some backlash from them.

 

i agre my bf is nice to me, so he might think something that he doesn't say and thats the trickyness of love.
at highschool 2 years ago there were 2 girls that called me the 'w' word and the 'sl' and i never talked to their bfs.

Is there a dress code, written, or unwritten?

Sometimes going against what is "normal" and "acceptable" can be fun.
Sometimes it can work against you.
Many times the boundries aren't clearly marked.

I need to clarify where we are going sometimes; but my wife dresses herself. My comments run toward "bring extra Gore-Tex and fleece, it's going to be miserable" to "I don't want to wear a flippin' suit, either, tough shit".

We use the words whore and slut all the time around here. Usually, it's in reference to the male members.

 

Your BF is much older than you are which is a difference here.

These days I encourage my wife to dress as slutty as she is comfortable with for situations where it would not be inappropriate.

When I was 21 years old and dating her, I wanted her to dress more conservatively because I didn't trust other guys (I've always trusted her).

He may enjoy "showing off" his hot young girlfriend in ways that a younger man would be insecure.

 

I don't know what constitutes legal adulthood in your country, but this is a difficult time of life. There's a huge difference between being an adult legally and being an adult in actual fact. And that includes saying and doing stupid, hurtful things to other people.

That kind of crap stems from immaturity and insecurity. Strive to be better than that and you won't go wrong.

 

I hate the word "whore", and don't think anyone deserves to be called that.

But "slut" is term of honor.

 

That might tie into your current situation. I have no idea of how you dressed in HS, but if you liked flaunting it back then like you apparantly enjoy flaunting it now, their reaction is not that surprising. I'm not saying it was right, just not surprising for HS.

It's just a word, it depends on context.

When asked for a job description, I generally go with Network Whore. There isn't much I can't or won't do if you have the budget.

 

i did not know i was available, i just dress in my favorite clothes not for men/teasing
its kind of like nudists. they don't go nude to tease as far as i know. and i know a bit cos i've been twice this year to a nude beach called sunnyside north in mount eliza (with my bf).
i only sleep with my bf nobody else

umm you need membership to enter and a key. but no dress code except tennis sneakers as far as i kno. it has 8 courts and usually only like 4 people are there on weekdays. its a quiet suburb really. we have hot weather especially in february and kind of still now some times so not good to wear thick clothes etc
sometimes guys have no tops on. but there is dress code for club matches on the weekend but i don't play that, just practice with my friend and a one hour lesson with my coach.

my bf is same, my bf likes light accessible dresses when we go to the cinema and dinners and has taken my underwear off in the car but i dress in more conservative dresses and with underwear at tennis and shopping on my own. my bf is exhibitionist in a way and took me to the nude beach in mount eliza twice.

we have to be 18 to sleep with 18+ i think or some people say 16 but my friend said its 18 according to the internet article she read. i could speak to 18+ even when i was 15 and it seemed like i was adult and get along etc

we had uniforms at school so no choice actually.

Sheri95, you've contradicted yourself.

When your wants (lacy undies) go against what is genrally considered as acceptable (sports panties and sports bra), you have to decide which is more important.

It's like a gym membership. The attire rules might be simple to the point of being amibigious, such as: Attire should be appropriate for a family atmosphere. That rule does not say stretchy outfits that are see through, thongs, Rio backs, etc. are unacceptable, but they are unacceptable.

 

By definition, if your bf/hubby is okay with it, it's not cheating, because he's the one that you define that with.

Someone asked what the bf gets out of it.

This reminded me of a quote I saw attributed to Tom Jones, when asked how husbands coped with knowing that their wives got horny at his shows, and threw their underwear onto the stage. Apparently he sais "it's like a bicycle. I might pump up the tyres, but they get to ride it home".

 

i agree with Tom Jones, i would only ever ride on my bf, unlike some girls that cheat/share.
only ever sleeped with one other person and he was my exbf and i only left him cos he was really rough-handed and into making my cheeks red.
