I typed in "Ford GT40" in Google image search and was wondering why it looked so modern.

    Now I know...

  8. I would be stuck between my all time favorite two cars...
1967 Chevy Camaro SS with the 383 Stroker
1969 Mustang Mach 1 with the 428-SCJ engine and shaker hood

I'd have to agree with JB's Aston Martin DB 5 that can be seen in movie Goldfinger

Surely, it would have to be one of these? If only for shits and giggles ..

Hrm. I was going to post an image-link of one of my favorite '70s vehicle, but evidently newbies aren't allowed to do that here.

An XKE but without the British electronics (Brits never could get auto electronics down to a workable science). Or I'd take the Munsters car.

pan, would you take the Munster car over the original 60's batmobile?

    Yes in a heartbeat.

But remember I also liked the Pontiac Fiero and the AMC Gremlin. That speaks volumes on my taste in cars.

DAKA DOING VERY NICELY, THANK YOU

Or, you could drop a Chev 350 in the Jag, I did that with an 84 Series III sedan...had to sell it too many cars at the time...

My family owned a total of 11 Beetles, a VW minivan, a Rabbit or two and Golf or two. Loved my '73 Super Beetle-had it for 11 years.
Well, that'd be custom in and out. VW had 2 choices of interiors in the 70's-tan or black and there was NO choice as to which went with which exterior. Ya want green, you got tan. Want orange? You got black.

That is a BADASS ride. It would be my second choice behind...

I am tempted to just say "X-Wing" and leave it at that. But I guess I will go with the 1965 Ford Mustang. Great car. Totally badass.
