I'm close to discography when it comes to Radiohead, Death Cab, and Snow Patrol.. but Muse is the only band that I definitely own *all* of their major albums. I can't afford all the imports, singles, and EPs. :p

I have a good portion of the Sarah Brightman albums but I have not looked at a discography to see how big the gaps are in my collection. My copies are all lossless APE/FLACs I ripped from my dads' CDs.

I own a shit ton of Tori Amos and Ani DiFranco; those obsessions went away in college when I broke up with the two chicks that inspired them.

*Scanning through my list, I have a HUGE amount of Spandau Ballet... what's up with that?

That's not going to be an exhaustive list.. It's a quick scan thru.. I normally buy everything someone does if I rather like whatever I am introduced to. As a result, there are some full or almost full collections of TONs of artists.. I hadn't noticed, but it says I have 34628 total songs, and looking at duplicates, it looks like there may be as many as 2k in there, but hard to tell, since it's based on name of song... Probably why I still don't own a house!

Started with "Let it Be" in college because reviewer compared them to the Clash if they were from America & drunk & in college & didn't really know anything about politics. God bless that reviewer.

The internets made this way too easy, especially once I had access to BitTorrent.

Pre-internet, at which point I used to troll record shops in Portland in order to find imports, and I am probably forgetting some:

    Oasis
    The Verve
    Spiritualized
    Pulp
    Placebo
    Travis

Post-internet, wherein I was able to download everything I had ever wanted, including the full discographies I would never be able to afford:

    U2
    Pink Floyd
    Enya
    Led Zeppelin
    The Beatles
    The Rolling Stones

I know I am missing a bunch. I had a hard drive loaded with music fail a few months ago.
