Recipe HUMMUS AGAIN

    I would love to try your Mother's recipe if she/you are willing to share it. Would be a nice surprise for my SO when he returns from Abu Dhabi.(assuming I can pull it off anyway :p)

    I'm with Lish. Words have meaning, and names are important. By definition hummus is made with chickpeas, if you're using something else then you're cooking something else. It may be delicious, but calling it hummus is like baking lamb and calling it fried chicken.

    That said tehina and hummus are extremely touchy dishes. Just different brands of tehina paste can make the entire finished product taste utterly different.
